Will dropped his head into his hands. “Mike, oh my god—”
Paladin Mike’s jaw tightened. “I do not own him,” he said immediately. “He is—” He stopped, swallowing. His eyes went back to Will softening, and that softness made Mike hate him even more. He could recognize the look, and saw it mirrored in his own eyes countless times.

“He is the Light. By your oath, I am bound to him. My liege.” He bowed his head slightly toward Will, his mouth wrapped around the word like it was a prayer. “My cleric.” He said after, softer.
“Oh my god.” Will flushed, impossibly. “That is crazy. He is actually crazy."
Max, who had been standing with her arms crossed behind them, muttered, “Jesus Christ,” under her breath.
Mike Wheeler is going to explode, because there is an alternate, armoured version of him, following Will Byers around like he belonged to him.

Summary
A rewrite of season 5. It will be a slow burn of Byler, but it will happened around the middle of the series. Also, i will explore more about the conection between Will and Vecna/Mind Flayer, and about the connection between Henry and the Mind flayer.
Plots that are being changed:
-Hopper's, he wont' be trying to kill hilsef. Also, he is going to trust Jane more, they will both work together.
-The kids plot, this one will be a lot different. And Holly won't have much "Screentime" at the beginning she will, but it will be less once she's taken.
-Mike will have something to do
-Jane's. I'm planning to explore her connection with henry. Also, I want her working with Will and Kali more.
-Nancy and Jonathan, all I'm going to say is, all types of byler are precious to me

Summary
After Hawkins split in four, the world didn’t end, but it didn’t go back to normal, either.
The Byers have moved in with the Wheelers, and Will's life has turned completely upside down. Mike convinced his parents to let Will stay in his room, and the closeness keeps creating accidental moments that get increasingly harder to ignore.
Some things, it turns out, are a lot harder to survive than interdimensional monsters.

Immediately upon recognising Will, Mike drops to one knee with a tremendous force and bows his head down, low. After a few seconds he lifts his head slowly, eyes looking directly into Will’s.
“William,” he says. “The Wise.”
Will’s eyes dart from Mike to Nancy and back to Mike again, his bleary-eyed tiredness completely gone.
“Wha…,” is all he can manage to muster up in response.
Nancy nods sagely.
“Sorry to do this to you, Will, but I needed to leave for work, like, thirty minutes ago, so please,” she clasps her hands together, her tone pleading, “deal with this?”Due to a 'clerical' error, Mike's DnD alter shows up at Will's doorstep, while the real Mike is nowhere to be found...

Summary
“He really does look like Mike,” Lucas breathes, as he gives Mike’s twin a scan, head to toe.
“Yeah, if Mike were way hotter and a knight?” Max chips in, and Will can vaguely hear Mike muttering again. “He looks so medieval, like he’s from Camelot or some shit.”
“I am Michael,” the knight begins to plead again. He turns his doe eyes back to Will, returning to his side like a diligent guard, even going as far as to reach out and take his hands. “Please, you have to believe me. I would never lie to you. Have I ever broken our oath? Let me prove it.”
Will was a bit preoccupied with gazing into the knight’s eyes, his cheeks flushing under the intense stare and the way his hands were held so gently. Mike had no issues ruining their moment.
“And he’s weirdly obsessed with Will.” Mike sounds even angrier than he did in the woods, and his sharp tone is enough for Will to snap out of his hand-holding to step a respectable distance away from the knight. “We need to send him back to wherever he came from.”

Mike the Brave ends up in Hawkins and sweeps Will off his feet. Mike has a lot of Feelings™ about it.

Vecna stopped for a second.

cracking vines, distant screeches, the very familiar sound of things going wrong.“Of course,” he muttered. “Why wouldn’t you.”
As the Demodogs lunged after Will, Vecna raised his hand.
“No, no— not him. You. All of you. Come here.”The Demodogs hesitated.
One tilted its head.
Another screamed.Vecna sighed and started running after them.
“I swear, I cannot do anything quietly in this place.”*
In this story, Will is 11 years old, and Vecna completely forgets all his evil plans and ends up babysitting him instead. Will is extremely mischievous, and Vecna is just trying to keep him alive in the Upside Down. It’s meant to be funny, but also full of angst—I hope you have fun reading it.Bookmarked by Destiny30

And fuck. In Mike’s all encompassing anxiety over whether or not El could fend Vecna off in time to save Max, he had forgotten about Will.Will, who the universe had taped a giant ‘Kick Me’ sign to his back. Will whose eyes were rolled to the back of his head and Will whose nose was gushing blood all down his front.
And Will whose left eye was completely black.
