Canon made me sad, so this is me fixing it with a dramatic OC and overwhelming firepower. Instead of Izuku charging into danger once Shigaraki wakes up at the hospital in episode 118, his attention is caught by the OC, and he pleads with him for help. Utilizing the borderline impossible powers the man possesses, the two plan how to stop the impending disaster and then watch the fireworks. That leans into the crack, and the aftermath leans more into the serious vibes. A self-indulgent power fantasy overall, with a dash of some seriousness.

April 14th, 21XX. Incident Report: five thousand random children, between the ages of thirteen and fourteen, have disappeared through Japan. Preliminary investigation turned up no clues or motives as to the victim's whereabouts, until, due to the diligence of the cybercrimes division, they have been found. Five thousand gaming streams, five thousand victims all dedicated to playing out a horror game each in order to escape and survive.

Summary
When Izuku Midoriya and four others are captured by villains prior to UA, they are put under an experiment to find lost temples and dangerous artifacts. 5 months into the experiments, they are rescued by Pro Heroes led by Aizawa Shouta aka Eraserhead. They soon realize that, while they are out of the experiment, the side effects are long lasting. Can they overcome these faults and become heroes? Or will they fall into the abyss?
I know it sucks, but give me some credit. I literally came up with this today.
