At the very least, he needs to get back at Menelaus somewhat – he resolves as he slides one hand under the table, carefully feeling around until he’s certain he’s reached the younger man’s crotch. When he starts to stroke him through the clothing, Menelaus slowly sits up, shooting him a confused glance, which Odysseus doesn’t dignify with any acknowledgement as he pretends to occupy himself with the contents of his plate.
