Summary
They don’t know exactly what it is. As far as they know—as far as Celine taught them, anyway—demons don’t exactly need to reproduce. Sure, they can, but that’s usually a personal choice more than a biological imperative. Their working theory is that what Rumi’s going through isn’t so much heat as much as it is a flare-up—human instinct amplified by her demonic nature.
