Summary
The frail treaty between the Vulpēs Vulpini and the Canis Lycaon of Beacon Hills had held for the last few years, balanced delicately on the reputation and respect of Sheriff Janek 'John' Stillinski.
The Reynard of the Vulpini was his own son and the Sheriff stood as the only authority Stiles showed any kind of deference too. On the other hand, Talia Hale, the Alpha of the Lyacon and Mayor of Beacon Hills, was someone who Stiles didn't respect in the slightest.
Things change when the wolves decide to call upon a ritual of the old ways in an effort to 'strengthen' the delicate accord between the two packs. Too bad they didn't account for an Alpha who'd had all the 'give a fuck' clawed out of him long ago.
