“You okay, there?” came the male voice from behind him.
Billy spun around to face the newcomer and nearly dropped his phone on the gravel from the shock of suddenly being faced with the prettiest man he had ever seen in his entire fucking life. Holy fuck. No way this guy was real. Billy was sure he must have given himself a concussion and was still halfway into his car, passed out, imagining things.
Thick hair that made Billy’s fingers twitch with the need to dig into it, big brown eyes that Billy felt staring into his soul, moles dotting his cheeks and a mouth he was dying to get his lips on.

Billy initially can't stand Steve, thinks he's here to spy for either of their fathers and get him in trouble. That all changes when he finds Steve crying in his car at the back of the staff carpark, after work on a Friday night, about a month in.

Summary
They drove under the sign announcing they’d arrived at Camp Sequoia Falls and Billy parked the Camaro in the designated visitor’s spot by the reception. Max was out of the car and up the steps before Billy had closed his door. Seemed her excitement was catching if the happy noises coming from the office were any indication.
Chuckling to himself, Billy followed her. He stepped inside and froze. The man on the other side of the counter was the last person Billy would have expected to see… his high school crush and Hawkins High former most popular alpha, Steve Harrington. Only he didn’t give off an alpha vibe anymore. No, it was something more subdued. Billy wished he could sniff the air without Max or Steve noticing.

Summary
Shane's been on the receiving end of Hayden's assessing gaze enough times to be able to guess at what he's going to ask next as he wrinkles his nose and juts his chin out, narrowing his gaze at them. “You know, you never really did say how long it was that you two were hooking up for before you got serious.”
“Is a long time,” Ilya says, with more than a little bit of pride in his tone. Shane tips his head back to meet his eyes and shrugs. Neither of them has ever dropped anything more than several years in interviews, keeping the details to themselves, but it’s less of an issue than he expects. He sort of wants to brag about how long it’s been; he wants to celebrate the fact that they had all those broken years together and still managed to make it through.
At this point, they’re coming up on more years together than not, which is insane if he thinks about it too hard.
OR: As always, the truth shall set [Shane] free.

Summary
Shane wanted to respect Ilya’s request for space. Shane wanted to get the fuck out of here. Shane couldn’t breathe.
Couldn’t move at all. He was frozen - from his lungs to his feet. Everything except his hands which were shaking. He should leave, but he wasn’t even sure how much longer his legs would be able to support him, and driving seemed like a bad idea in this state.
What if Shane stayed after the Boxing Day fight. Basically an exploration of the age old question - what if they just, like, talked about their feelings? (And also went to Bood's party after all).
