Summary
This was written for a roleplay server I manage, TLDR; It's an alternate ending au for KH3. Sora beat Xehanort, but they couldn't close Kingdom Hearts, so everything was shrouded in darkness. The Master of Master's is collecting those he thinks would benefit his plans, Riku and Saix being two of them.

Riku is sent on a solo mission to Twilight Town, his goal? Fight the darkness and find the keyhole....if there even is one. What felt like hours of searching got him nothing but some scrapes and bruises from his fights with the heartless. Deciding to take a break and regather his bearings? Was probably his worst idea...Rule No.1: When in Heartless Territory? Always keep moving.

Summary
This started out as a joke because of a handful of different art pieces where Vincent Valentine is wearing a dress, but then I decided to actually write something for it because I can.
This is definitely a what if situation because it's likely this would only happen if the whole group was together way earlier OR Corneo wasn't shut down after the first infiltration of his little lair. So maybe I'll write a fic or add bits into this one to actually set up how Cid and Vincent were here in the first place, instead of being in Rocket town and Nibelheim. K? K. Cool.
We're gonna ignore how poorly written this is....--
Cid Highwind is bold, crass, and really would rather be home with a cup of tea than in Midgar. However, travelling with his moody vampire of a pal wasn't so bad. A quick stop at a bar in the slums before they continued on had them running into a situation, they.... likely could've avoided. If he'd read the sign on the door that is.
