“That works for me,” you replied.
You supposed you could just stay in his car and wait for the rain to stop.
At least, that was what you were thinking before a new shiver had your entire body quivering, and you wrapped your arms tighter around yourself to try and suppress it.
“You okay?” Eddie asked, leaning towards you, eyes filled with concern.
“I’m f-f-fine,” you said. “Just drenched. I n-need a change of clothes, that’s all.”
“You know,” Eddie said, resting his hand on the seat behind you, “I can think of one way to warm yourself up.”
