“Your brats.” Eijirou presses his cheek between Katsuki’s shoulder blades.
The blond’s fingers tighten uncontrollably under his friend’s knees. A bitter cold sweeps through him that has nothing to do with the storm.
He’s seen Katsuki break; hate himself for being good at everything but gifting Izuku the one thing he wants most. How it’s chipped away at them, how they’ve had fights that’s seen Katsuki over at their home for a fortnight. Every heat, locked together for hours. Trying position after position even if it left Izuku sore for days because of the odd angles.

“M-Maybe not yet. Not ever if you don’t make it back home.” Eijirou lets out a steady, tired breath. “Bakugou Katsuki doesn’t lose, r-right?”

He glares at his assigned partner pointedly only to not even be acknowledged in return.

Out of all people, not that Katsuki needed to be assigned with any Omega to begin with, it had to be the aloof, half-and-half bastard, whose scent is always supressed anyway.
He doesn't need Todoroki to be his partner in anything.
Or, Katsuki is the Alpha saddled with agency mandated partnership for Todoroki's first heat in years.

Pro Hero Ground Zero is asked to join a special operation which fights against a particular human trafficking ring. His specific orders? Blend into their clientele and find a way to their bosses and whoever produces the weird golden chains that bind the victims to the highest bidder via a quirk. If he can find out who the mole in the Hero Organisation is, he'll maybe get a raise on top.
Midoriya Izuku went missing four years ago.
These two things are related, but come full circle when Katsuki and Izuku end up bound together. Neither of them really mind, which is probably a good thing considering they are stuck like this for the forseeable future and the sake of Katsuki's cover.
Izuku tries his best to catch up to a life that has left him behind by now.
Katsuki wants nothing more than to help, even if it's four years too late and he's not sure how.
