In the aftermath of Fontaine’s prophecy, things went right– as much as they could but Furina doubted it was the same for her.
As it all came to an end, so did Furina’s role. Left with nothing but her thoughts, Furina struggled to find a place for herself in this new world. The play was over and she was no longer needed.
But just maybe, there was a place for her somewhere in the world. Just as her story has ended in Fontaine, maybe she can start anew somewhere else.

After the end of the prophecy, Fontaine was saved and heading towards a new light.

Calyste wakes up to find herself in the world of Honkai Star Rail. Completely disoriented and confused she accidentally activates a hidden space unique to her consciousness, dragging in two powerful pathstrides and instantly strikes up an exchange of information in hopes of returning to Earth with the premise of being an Aeon-like being (she doesn't know what she's doing)
In the meanwhile, she has no other option than to seek the protection of the Astral Express as an avid fan of the game while pretending to be a regular pathstrider, trailblazing along with the crew.
