Summary
A SNAPSHOT is a moment you remember clearly, even after days, months, or years of time. Each chapter tends to be short, often covering less than an hour, just like a memory. But these moments shape the person who has them.
If you had to break three years of memories into thirty-seven moments, what would be the most important things to remember? For Marina, Pearl, Callie, and Marie, those moments include two Great Zapfish Kidnappings, time on Inkopolis News, and a whole lot of music. But even when they remember the same moments, that doesn't mean they remember the same things. Covers Splatoon 1 through Octo Expansion.
Despite appearances, this series isn't a drabble collection. These are sink-in-your-teeth, sob, cheer, what do you mean that was foreshadowing, how dare you, coherent and fully plotted fics. Several have comments stating their entire reaction to a chapter changed after reading a different snapshot. These things have more fans than I can fully comprehend. Read at your own risk. Not quite canon-compliant with Splatoon 3.

In a world of Elves and Monstergirls, it can be hard for mere Humans to find their way. They built their kingdoms, fight their wars, adventure into ancient ruins from the Old Elven Empire and their own Human glorydays - but it's difficult to manage when there are Hybrids and Beastkin looking to breed at every turn. Whether it be lovemaking in a tavern, an ambush in the woods, or a tryst with a royal, there's always a monstergirl on one end who's eager to make children - but, luckily, romance is as thick on the winds as natural breeding instinct, and Humans are nothing if not adaptable.

Summary
The scope of the multiverse is so tremendously beyond the comprehension of most beings that if they were to truly know what it meant, they would break down and be unable to live their lives the way they wish. Most worlds are lucky to be blissfully unaware of the true picture of reality, never to encounter the higher forces and civilizations.
However, when one of those higher forces make contact with one of those unaware worlds - intentionally or not, peacefully or not - everything will change drastically. Sometimes the change is slow, sometimes rapid. Regardless of the pacing, like all change, it is both good and bad. Civilizations have risen from simple worlds overnight, and have crumbled just as quickly. Many can't handle the revelation, and those that can are not always the best examples of honor and dignity.
It is often said that each world - each universe - has a Song, and that all these Songs are related, intertwining together in a mesh of powerful destiny among the Spheres of the multiverse.
