Summary
Allura had told them once that Voltron was their destiny.
If anything, Keith thinks, Lance had proven that while finding the lions might have been on the dime of some greater plan, compliance to their supposed fate was not strictly required in any remote sense of the word.
In fact, by Lance's standard of doing things it was all rather bullshit.
(Or: The story of the destruction of Earth and its aftermath, feat. questionable science in regards to weapons of mass destruction, gratuitous Star Wars references, theoretical chess games with the emperor of most of the known universe, explosions, the greatest bromance of all time, the worst romance of all time, far too many guns, concussions, extreme misuse of the French language, awkward flirting, and Lance in an overly-dramatic trench coat.)

Summary
Lance gathers the rest of his harvest and makes to head back inside. He’s halfway to the door when he hears a soft cry. What the…
He stills and listens for it again. There. Tiny and high pitched. “Mew!”
His head snaps over to the bushes just in time to see a small black cat with bright violet eyes emerge from them. It stops about 6 feet away and stares at him. Lance carefully sets the basket aside and crouches low to the ground, not wanting to spook it. “Hey there little guy.”
It meows loudly, almost angrily, but takes a hesitant step forwards.
“It’s ok, I’m not gonna hurt you,” he coos at the cat, kneeling in the dirt.
It walks closer and that’s when Lance realizes it’s limping slightly.
Or: Keith gets ambushed on the way to Pidge, Hunk, and Lance’s house and is turned into a cat. He makes his way to his destination eventually, but the problem? Nobody knows it's him.

Summary
For as long as Lance has been alive he hasn't been able to feel pain. CIPA. But that won't let the highschooler down. He's a senior. He has things he wants to do, hell, he needs to do before he graduates. Things like finding the best spot to ask the school queen, Allura, out. He's picked out the perfect spot in their sleepy little town, and running through the lines in his head. Nothing can go wrong...
That is until Lance smells something so sickeningly sweet is makes his mind go numb and blindly follows it...
