   Summary

   Viserys Targaryen went to sleep and did not wake. Then the storm broke and dragons danced.. his House tore itself apart from within, fire and blood became the norm, not just their creed. The end saw dragon fighting dragon until death took them all and they were lost to history and time. They were weakened beyond repair. That was his legacy, a legacy of pain and sadness.

   Or was it?

   As he lay dying, Viserys is given a choice, a chance to make things right and save his House. Save his daughter and brother from the mistakes he has made, save the Realm from his own blood. But he is only given one chance and he must choose wisely, the gods are not so forgiving a second time.

   Summary

   Melisandre may have brought back his body when she gave him the kiss of life, but it was Daenerys that reignited his soul when she breathed her own flames into him their first night on the ship. They burned his old flesh to ash and he was formed anew. The light of her bright inferno chased away the darkness that followed him constantly. The heat of her fire ran through his being and melted the coldness that had numbed him inside.

    

   Basically, what I need to happen in Season 8/ Winds of Winter/ A Dream of Spring while still keeping everyone as close to their canon counterparts as possible. A better retelling of Season 8.
