Everyone froze. Avid’s voice had a different lilt to it, one that sounded like a note from Drift’s favorite song. It made her feel compelled to, yes, listen to Avid. Clearly, whatever he had to say was important, especially when using such a lovely melodic voice.
Avid’s voice changed. It was rich, song-like, gorgeous, even. Alluring. Scott should stop and listen to what Avid had to say. God, if Avid told him to admit he was a vampire with that voice, he might even do it, anyone who sounded like that should be obeyed.
The way Avid’s voice seemed to burrow in Abolish’s brain, tugging him to do whatever he said. Abolish had to make sure Avid never had an opportunity to sing—that would be deadly.
But Abolish had an inkling on what Avid was. Hint: it wasn’t a human.OR: Avid is part siren from his mysterious wound, and sometimes has a lovely siren voice. And he doesn't know why people are agreeing with him so easily now.

Sae had immediately gone to his side to tend to the bleeding wound, but Rin couldn't help but think that the blood — he rarely, barely, saw blood — looked like his brother's hair if it darkened by a few shades.

Summary
Isagi wakes up in an unfamiliar room, surrounded by total strangers all around except for his idol, who he has adored since childhood.
A woman tells him that he's apparently the protagonist of a football project that happens in the future, but Isagi is too sceptical to believe her after his own dream to go to the nationals has already been crushed courtesy of one Kira Ryousuke and his failure of a football team.
And now, for the sake of Japanese football, and their own futures, they all have to sit down and watch the future to see what the program entails. Along the way, Isagi and several others discover sides to themselves that they never knew they had, and maybe, just maybe, Isagi can make his dream come true.
(Now if only everyone stopped looking at him like he murdered their newborns. He gets it, a plain faced, average looking Japanese boy with a shy personality does not look suitable to be a protagonist of anything.)
