Fuck. Five had unintentionally time traveled to the future, just by talking about it with Klaus. Or his future self had tried to time travel and accidentally pulled this version of Five into his place. Something like that.
(Well, either he’s in the future or he just forgot the past however many years of his life, yet still looks 13 for some reason. Either way, what the fuck.)or
In an attempt to return his body to its proper, 58-year-old form, Five accidentally just wipes all memories from after the age of 13 (just before his first jump, which landed him in the apocalypse). Now he needs to remember all the shit that happened in the past (apparently) 45 years, but he can tell his siblings aren't telling him the entire truth. Leave it to his subconscious to deal with that.

Summary
After forty five years in the apocalypse, Five finally gets the equation right to travel back to the Academy before the world ended. This time, he goes back to when they were thirteen years old, the very same day he ran away during lunch. He sits back down, gets a lecture from his father, and proceeds to act like nothing happened at all.
Or at least, he tries to. Turns out, life's a bitch, especially when you time travel back to the moment you were supposed to disappear forever and change the entire timeline. Now that five can actually be there for his formative years, he can stop the apocalypse-- and maybe, have some fun with his siblings while he's at it.
