Having the legitimacy of a grade school essay, far too many unfinished backstories, and a ridiculous amount of subplots that's only purpose was to serve as sixty chapters of papapa to an overpowered protagonist whose harem reached triple digits!

    And when he says that he would happily curse it until his last breath, he means it.

    "A-Yuan, what are you doing sleeping right now?"

    Wait, where is he?

    "Why are you ignoring your Gege? Answer me!"

    Who’s his Gege!?!

    Shen Yuan realizes that the plot holes in PIDW really are going to be the actual death of him, but all he has to do is survive in this new world and keep his Gege and Qi-ge safe and happy with him!

    But most importantly, stay as far away from the scum villain and Luo Binghe as possible! Which turns out to be his biggest struggle of all!

    Shen Yuan has lived in the shitty omegaverse xianxia world of Proud Immortal Demon Way for years. Peacefully enjoying Qing Jing peak with his Peak Lord brother and whiling away the days.     With the notable exception of a little black puppy. He’s happy to be responsible for him.

    When the disciple intake that should contain Luo Binghe passes without the protagonist showing up, it throws a spanner into his plans. He’d sworn he’d hug the protagonist's golden thighs and protect his brother and Cang Qiong Mountain Sect from Demon Emperor Luo Binghe’s eventual wrath.

    That’s going to be tough without him. But his little dog grows into a stalwart companion, arriving in his dreams to tell him he’s trapped in this canine body. That’s fine! They have all the time in the world for him to cultivate to human form.

    He doesn’t know why the system is still counting down to Luo Binghe being thrown into the abyss, since he hasn’t even made an appearance…
