    Summary

Just as the True Cross Order had overpowered the Illuminati and defeated Satan and Lucifer, one thing led to another, and before he knew it, he found a spear had suddenly gone cleanly through his back, out of his stomach. He wasn’t sure if it was a member from True Cross Order who shot at the widely known Illuminati spy, or if it was an angry agent from the Illuminati, pissed off at his betrayal. It could have been any of the organisations, he wasn’t surprised either way. After all, his back was painted as a large target for both organizations. A double spy, a traitor to both. He was lucky enough to have not been killed after his first betrayal.

    Summary

There’s a brief moment where Hank can't feel anything at all.

A moment when the disbelief fills him so entirely, that it almost feels like he’s watching some dramatic movie from his teenagehood, instead of actually experiencing this moment. Distantly, he thinks he must be in some form of shock, he’s dissociating from the trauma. He’s a homicide detective, he’s seen more people than he can count in shock, and has helped talk quite a few of them through it. All that experience crumbles like ashes in his dry mouth, as he gazes unseeing at Connor’s slack face. At Connor’s corpse.

Or: A cute age regression fic that's not nearly as dramatic as it sounds, in which Hank relearns what it mean to be a parent and Connor gains a father.

    Summary

Markus’s peaceful demonstration has succeeded, and the androids are working to build the base of their new society out of Detroit. Russia and the USA are in flux about what to do. CyberLife is under investigation and Kamski seems to have disappeared.

Connor is spending his time undoing the damage he did by helping Markus negotiate terms between humans and androids, while also talking with Hank about rejoining the police force as a paid officer. DPD is nearly won over on granting him the position—when suddenly, CyberLife files a lawsuit.

President Warren gave an executive order about the androids, but there is no legal precedent on this novel situation; Congress has been at a stalemate for days. CyberLife, despite being in hot water, takes full advantage of this and tries to reclaim Connor with every intention of destroying him. Their case: Connor is still their property with no legal rights of his own. If they win, this could decide the judicial fate of all the androids, just after fighting so hard to be free.

With help from Markus and Hank, Connor countersues for his—and all androids’—freedom.

The revolution has jumped from the streets to the courtroom.

I don't typically read law stories. This is a massive exception.

    Summary

Something warm fills Connor’s chassis, strong enough that he runs a quick diagnostic to check if something else had become damaged. Still just his thirium pump regulator and communicator. The feeling runs hot and pleasant through his thirium lines before he registers the sensation must be a part of his behavior conditioning programming, rewarding him for eliciting a positive response from Hank.
It’s not an emotion. Just a piece of programming.
    Just programming.

    OR

A well-intentioned Markus kidnaps Connor and takes him to Jericho. But what happens when a machine that can feel emotions doesn't want to deviate? And what ends can justify the means?
