Summary
In a world of heroes, vows are binding and so are claims. The Covenant, an ancient old tradition that you've been preparing for your entire life, finally ties you to a suitor. He isn't anything like you expect. He's cold and harsh and emotionally unattached. You quickly learn that you should keep your distance. Should fear his silence. Should tremble in his presence and be afraid of his shadow.
