Summary
Just suppose Harry Potter has taken to heart the lessons he was taught by living with the Dursleys. Suppose he is thrown into the meatgrinder of the War to die, as Dumbledore expects/requires. Suppose he not only fails to die, as was planned for him, but he chooses vengence upon those who considered his life as their property to abuse and terminate at their will. Just suppose, when it is too late, that Harry Potter is exposed as the wizarding equivalent of an Atomic Bomb. Just suppose.

Hermione can’t sleep. The final battle was over: Voldemort had been vanquished that very day. But she can’t stop worrying—about Harry, about Ron, about everything that happened, about what will happen now. And then Ron’s strange question just kept creeping into her mind: “Harry talks in his sleep. Have you noticed?” What the hell was that about? And why couldn’t she get any rest without knowing Harry was safe and close by?

Summary
That’s the point, Harry reminded himself. It was why he let Ron set this up, it was why they picked an out of the way pub, it was why he sported the glamour in the first place. Because Harry wanted someone who didn’t want Harry Potter. He wanted to be with someone who wanted to be with him, not the celebrity. So he set up a date where he wasn’t Harry Potter. He was Henry Evans, and if this date went well, maybe he could be Harry Potter during the next one.
Maybe.
In which Harry goes on a date, falls in love, and has no idea how to tell Hermione who he really is.

“And that pathetic wretch of a man who visited you at your family’s home.” He forces Harry to turn his head, to meet his gleeful gaze. “And the shadow out of the corner of your eye when you thought yourself alone. Yes, Harry, I was there.”
“How?” he demands, bravado not quite masking fear.
And Voldemort laughs again, an edge of madness to the sound. “Oh, you lucky little idiot. You have no idea what you’ve done.”
Harry, Ron, and Hermione discover a spell. They decide to perform it, and no one is pleased with the result.
