Summary
Stiles' maternal grandmother shows up, offering to help him learn more magic. Nobody likes the idea of Stiles going to visit his family alone, so Derek volunteers to join him, as his boyfriend.
The only problem? They aren't dating.So they go, and Stiles has to navigate relatives who had shunned his mother and him his whole life, learn to control his magic better, and find a way to deal with the man he's been hopelessly crushing suddenly glued to his side.
Meanwhile, Derek is feeling guilty about savoring the opportunity to glue himself to Stiles' side, trying to support his learning of magic, and mostly ignoring the meddling family members that definitely want something from Stiles, even though they don't deserve a second of his time.

Summary

In the end, it was Derek who smiled at him in placation and pressed the last calming kiss to Stiles’ eager lips. As if they had all time in the world. As if they would be doing it again and again and again, after. As if something real would exist beyond this TV set.
Yes, Derek kissed him like he wanted it to last. If Stiles was a romantic at heart, he would’ve said it felt like yearning. For what — Stiles didn’t know. There ought to be thousands like him in Derek’s world, while Derek was one in a million.

Summary
Derek prowled through the pack’s territory, his movements slow and methodical as he marked the trees lining the border. The scent of his claim lingered in the crisp night air, a silent warning to any who dared trespass. The neighboring packs knew better than to encroach on Hale land, so his patrols were usually uneventful—save for the occasional lone wolf foolish enough to test their luck.
Nose to the ground, Derek inhaled deeply, the damp earth and crushed grass filling his lungs. He swept forward, the tickle of blades against his snout barely registering—until something new curled into his senses.
Sweet.
His ears flicked forward, body going still as he took another deep pull of air. The scent was intoxicating, a cloying heat laced with something sharp and distinctly fox. An omega in heat.
Derek’s mouth parted slightly, his tongue running over his lips as he tracked the scent. He’d never been drawn to a fox before—usually, their scent barely registered. But this one? This one called to him. Urged him forward like a force of nature.
He followed the twisting, erratic trail, weaving through the underbrush with effortless grace. The omega was either playing or completely lost.

Bruce didn’t question the sudden breeze he’d feel on a still Gotham night, or the barely-there bruises above Damian’s collar that weren’t there in the pre-patrol checkup. Thought the sudden confusion at Robin’s hairstyling mid-patrol was just him being unobservant to his partner, too focused on the mission.
Because Damian never dressed unintentionally, so the disheveled locks must have been something he was trying out. And surely, the flushed pink cheeks under his mask were from the bite of the cold night air on rooftops.

Jon throws his hands up in irritation, before crossing them over his chest and slumping back against the glass wall of the combine. "Whatever. Is this why you dragged me out here? To make fun of me where memaw can't yell at you?"
"Pff? No. No, I dragged you out here to give you advice. You're gonna woo little Robin so good, he'll practically come crawling."
"Puh-leez!" Jon laughed. "Everyone knows you're the one who did all the crawling for Tim."
"See, that's what I want you to think." Kon says with a smarmy smirk. "There's so much I did beforehand. You gotta play the bat to get the bat, kid."
"I don't believe a word of it." Jon says, now going so far as to turn his head away from his brother.
"Look, I'll tell you exactly what I did. If it doesn't work, I'll admit defeat and you can go ask Dick for advice. How's that?"
"Fine." Jon says with a sigh and an eyeroll, then, sarcastically, "Please teach me your ways, oh wise one."
