Summary
X was, in all honesty, flabbergasted. What was this? National commit suicide day? What was with young people and jumping off roofs these days? It wasn’t unusual to save people from suicide as a hero, but it must be some kind of record to save two people from the same rooftop within an hour. And it must be a separate thing in itself that one of those people was a hero who could fly and was the paragon of perfection. Oh, the irony.
In which X saves both Lin Ling and Nice at that rooftop, consequently becoming their therapist and adopting them (none of them realizes the adoption happened).

How many times has it been?
X didn’t quite remember.
All he knew was that he failed every time.
Why did he even have the power to bend time if he couldn’t save anyone?X gained the power to travel back in time and alter reality after everyone placed their Trust and hope in him — like how Lucky Cyan gained her powers — to save them from a corrupt hero, much like Zero. Except he was much more powerful than Zero.
And X was losing hope after failing to save his fellow heroes and the city's inhabitants time and time again.Based on the TBHX opening song "Inertia", specifically the line "I've got to believe that there's a need for my whole existence".
P.S. The villain will be referred to as he or him, just to clear up any confusion.

Or an Alternative Universe in which the galaxy gets saved because Luke has a youtube channel, everybody is on space twitter and Anakin Skywalker always returns to the light for his family.
Rebellions are loud and vibrant and social media is the most powerful weapon right next to a lightsaber.

For a while, this is as close as they get to any sort of argument: Zoro growling at him like a rabid dog, deadlocked into a staring contest that Mihawk, for the first time, might actually lose.
Perona finally breaks the silence. "Urgh! I've had it with you--emotionally constipated sword freaks!" she fumes with a petulant stomp of her cherry boots. "Fine! If you two won’t talk about it, then I’ll do it for you!" She extends her hands. "Negative Hollow!"
Twin translucent specters erupt from her palms. Mihawk effortlessly swats away the pest -- but Zoro, only halfway to his mastery of haki and ambushed from his freshly-carved blind spot, is not quite so fortunate.
Zoro crumples to his hands and knees. “I don't deserve to have you as my father.”
Perona gasps. Zoro petrifies, and Mihawk thinks, distantly, that this is what it would feel like to take a sword to the chest.
“As your what?”
