“He is not flirting! He’s just nice, Ilya! I can’t help that he’s a nice person and we have things in common! He treats me just like he treats everyone else on the team! I’m not going to let you attack me because you’re jealous, Ilya!” Shane was pissed. Ilya knew he was going too far, but the jealous comment pushed him further.
“Jealous? I’m not fucking jealous. I think it is fair to not want some guy flirting with my boyfriend constantly.” Ilya’s mouth kept moving against his will. “I think is fair to expect my boyfriend not to flirt back.” Ilya wanted to grab the words out of the air and shove them right back into his mouth, but it was too late.
AU where they both get drafted to the same team and they’re not ready to come out about their relationship so they keep it a secret from their teammates. Ilya is a year older than Shane in this one so they can both be drafted # 1 to the same team lol(title because I was listening to Silk Sonic while writing this one.)
