Gwen and Arthur have been married for several years, Merlin's magic has been revealed and Arthur has now reached a kind of cold peace with it. Then a delegation arrives from a kingdom based on magic, and suddenly Destiny is starkly and ruthlessly to the fore. The question is should - can - it be avoided?

Merlin has been alive for a very long time.
He is not losing it... But he is on a very meditative journey to become one with a blade of grass when he suddenly wakes up in the sixth century, surrounded by friends he only sort of remembers and a king who isn't a king yet.

Armour gleamed in the firelight: supple chainmail glinted, and the solid iron of a pauldron curved lovingly over one broad shoulder. The length of a sword blade separated them. Summary
The earring that Hoffman had oh-so-kindly left in Strahm’s apartment, the one that Strahm had almost feverishly shoved through the unbroken, virgin skin of his ear lobe, had infected Strahm’s ear to the point that even the breeze brushing against it as he walked to the corner store and back was horrendously painful. He’d had worse injuries, his throat still killed, but the dull, poisonous throb of his ear was getting to him a little bit. A reminder that he was a horny, lust addled man who split his own skin apart for Mark Hoffman, of all people. It didn’t help that he couldn't stop fiddling with it either.

Strahm can't seem to find himself any place other than within the concentric circles that Hoffman winds around him. But at least his film collection is there to soften the embarrassment and blows.

After a month of bargaining with the Gehennian government, efforts to permit a search party within the Rack facilities still proved unsuccessful. Although Starfleet’s orders dictated we tuck tail and leave, I elected to disregard this decision and beam a rescue operations team down for the recovery of Lieutenant Commander Dean Winchester.
The life of Commander Rufus Turner was lost in the efforts, but the hostage was recovered, severely injured but alive. Although I have not escaped unscathed for disobeying a direct order, Starfleet has redirected their attention to understanding the circumstances surrounding Winchester’s imprisonment and rescue..."
In the middle of a milk run mission to retrieve powerful artifacts before they can fall into the hands of galactic terrorists, things go, as always, horribly wrong — and Dean and Castiel are mortified to discover their bond, if they even have one, is all that stands between the galaxy and its annihilation.
