Summary
To preface this is my first published fic. It has been uploaded in its original form before any proof writing or outsider input and editing.
When the god Zagreus was killed their spirit was returned to the world in the mortal who would come to be known as Dionysus. In a twist of fate this mere mortal would one day ascend to the very status of godhood which had been denied to them in a past life. This story is, of course, ancient history. As it now stands, the once fearsome conqueror who brought low the kingdoms of man is more a shadow of their former self than ever. Yet even now that small ember threatens to cause a blaze and burn down all that the gods of Olympus have built.
This legacy is what is given to Perseus Jackson, more his father's son than he knows. In the midst of a conflict which spells the doom of the world as we know it, Perseus must bear the burden of being his father's child, the weight of redemption, and the heavy silence of those long since gone. This story is a retelling of the original Lightning thief book with new characters, new gods, and a refreshing mix of Riordan's original style along with the author's own. Summary
After having given up all hope, Gabriel finds himself miraculously rescued from Asmodeus' vile clutches. But he is far from healthy and whole, and he can barely care for himself. Gabriel knows that he needs the help of another, but he finds the words almost too painful to speak.
Sam knows some of what Gabriel endured at the hands of a monster. And he also knows that he could never permit another to linger in darkness when there is something that he could do about it. He agrees to Gabriel's reluctant request, and then proceeds to show the archangel that anything is possible, if you only have a little faith.

Dean was stretching himself thin. With one hand, he pressed a cold, wet rag onto Sam's brow, and with the other, he tried to pull Cas's blanket over him. He didn't know what to do. This virus clearly wasn't a regular sickness if Cas was sick, which meant this could easily be dangerous, potentially lethal. And dammit, Dean wasn't going to lose his brother and his best friend in one go.
