Ever since he was young, Roronoa Zoro knew he was not a tactile person. It wasn’t that he hates being touched, he just didn’t actively seek it out. And in his life in the dojo, touch was often associated with pain- the pain of a bamboo stick thwacking against his body, a dull point dug into his skin, a body slamming him into the ground. He was young when his parents died, too young to really remember the hugs his mother gave or the pats on the head his father shared. No, touch was never associated with much else for him.
Or, Zoro is touch starved, Luffy likes to touch, and they have sex.

“Zoro, what did he mean when he called you my guard dog?” Luffy asks while Zoro is scraping off the dirt on his attire. There’s no point, Nami is just gonna rip it off him and throw it in the wash bin.
“I dunno,” Zoro responds absentmindedly. Luffy presumes that Zoro probably didn’t actually hear what Luffy asked. That’s the thing about Zoro, whether he gets it — he’s all ears for Luffy.
Or: People seem to know a lot more about Luffy than they let on.

If Zoro cared about his job, he’d say no, because there are hundreds of people here watching them. They’re used to moving in secret, stealing kisses in dark corners. The vibrant and adored Prince Luffy does not need an affair with his knight on the radar of his future subjects.
But Zoro doesn’t care about his job, at least, not in the way someone like King Garp would want him to. He cares about Luffy, though, always has. So he says—

He keeps moving forward at a steady pace, resisting the urge to run because how fucking embarrassing would that be, running because he missed them, and as he breaks through the treeline he shouts, “Oi, oi—what took you guys so long? It's been—”
And then he freezes, because yes, actually—something is very, very wrong.
The Sunny is anchored just off shore, close enough to see the deck but far enough away that the crew has had to take the Mini Merry to make land. Scattered across the beach in various stages of chaos—rolling around, yelling, fighting—are his crew but not his crew, so similar and yet so, so different. They look younger, fresher, and whatthefuck there, on the deck of the Sunny just peering over the railing, he catches a flash of green—his own green hair—
“Ah, fuck,” he grunts, and then immediately turns back around because no, actually, he does not want to deal with this.

"We definitely have enough for two weeks, we shouldn't need to restock until then, anyway," Nami had said thoughtfully.
"Well then plot a course for the original destination! We don't want to waste any more time," Luffy said.
No one was too concerned about it. Of course they'd have to watch Luffy to make sure he didn't eat all the food before they could restock, but otherwise the crew seemed content to have a little extra time just hanging around the boat.
At first, Zoro had felt the same way. He hadn't really had any strong feelings about being effectively trapped on the boat with everyone for longer than expected. It wasn't so different from the normal day to day for the most part.
But then he'd counted out his heat suppressants.
