Without Wei Wuxian noticing, the dragon's tail had surrounded him and with one swoop, it slid him towards the dragon, right under its chest. Despite the dragon's icy breath, its body was warm, providing Wei Wuxian with the heat he didn't know he needed. He was shivering and his teeth chattered but slowly, as he warmed up, that went away.
Then it started purring. Purring! Wei Wuxian couldn’t believe this. He had basically been held hostage by a dragon that had seemed to stake some claim to him when he had a husband he hadn’t even been able to meet yet!*Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are arranged to be married so they can have many Lan heirs*

The war with the Lans has been going on for a few years now, and while Wei Ying had made a name for himself on the field, he'd also managed to embarrass the Jiangs while doing it. For some weird reason, Madam Yu thinks that if Wei Ying managed to curse himself, it would distract the Lans.
Unable to refuse her, Wei Ying agrees. His body does go to sleep, but the curse is far worse than he thought it would be. Now he's trapped, watching the Lans desperately try and steal his body and bring it to Gusu, after Jiang Cheng tried to sneak him to safety. He has to watch that fuddy-duddy Lan Zhan, and wonder why he seems so desperate to take care of his body. It's very confusing, isn't it... to watch the enemy treat you so kindly...
