Summary

“I thought you liked it when there are more bodies for you to collect?”
“You have to admit, sixty-three corpses in a span of two nights is a bit excessive.”

“Friends?” Louis asked, extending his hand. An olive branch. Such a simple gesture. Such a small, cordial point of physical contact as if they hadn’t spent the past day and a half in eachother’s arms in a six foot long box exchanging tears and apologies and chaste kisses.
Lestat shook Louis’ hand. “Friends,” he said.
Although, Lestat wasn’t sure if a “friend” would have published that book. Interview with the Vampire, he’d called it. In Lestat’s opinion, it was less of an interview and more of an autopsy. Louis sliced himself and Lestat open and let some overzealous journalist get his hands bloody playing around in their entrails.
