Stiles smiles slightly as he says, "I don't know if you've heard, but Beacon Hills is protected."
The demon, its pale skin glowing slightly, says in a low voice that sounds more like a croak than anything, "Oh yeah? By who?" It nods to the ground where Scott and Derek's bodies are.
Still smiling, Stiles raises his bat, gripping it tightly, "Me."
Lightning flashes.
Then Stiles runs at the demon.

In a second, she was on top of me, the chair shattered and claws digging into my shoulder.

We both went still at the admission, at her show of force. Despite her tone, it felt like a plea, instead of an insult. Her claws retracted back and we were left with her fingers on my chest.
After what happened Under the Mountain, Feyre is spiraling. Her mate can only watch from afar - until Rhysand finally calls in the bargain. His plans to provoke and rile Feyre back into feeling something goes terribly awry when a heated argument escalates during her reading lessons. Rhys is desperate to help put Feyre back together, but must navigate the minefield of their volatile budding relationship. An ACOMAF canon-divergence told from Rhysand's POV.
