Summary
“I dunno, man, I don’t really think of it like that. Time wasn’t like that in the cage. And, especially after Cas took a lot of it, the whole thing feels, you know, apart,” Sam says.
And it’s true. Like his time in the cage is part of a different life, one mostly remembered but only half-felt. Just as distant as his days at Stanford. Just as distant as his days with Ruby. Maybe he’s just too good at extracting the pieces of his history that are painful. Maybe Dean is so stuck in his pain because he’s just a bit more human than Sam is.
“That’s good. That’s really good, Sammy.”
OR
Chuck's been defeated. Jack is gone. Cas is dead. Sam is ready to build a new life but Dean's grief threatens to consume him entirely. Sam, Eileen, and even Claire all want to help Dean through this darkness, but they worry it's only a matter of time before Dean can't keep fighting it anymore.
Dean’s loved ones watch as he monumentally self-destructs while grieving his angel. There will be eventual happiness.

Summary
Castiel, a sarcastic and quiet bartender at a queer club, doesn’t intend to fall for the club’s newest drag queen. Cherrie Pye, however, clearly doesn’t care about Castiel’s intentions. She’s all glitter and attitude – strutting onto the stage and into Castiel’s heart like she owns the place.
Then Castiel meets Dean, the man behind the lashes. He’s no less charming than Cherrie, and totally straight.
(And Castiel? Well, he wants both of them. Obviously.)
A short, sweet slow burn (think toasted marshmallow) about drag, desire, mistaken assumptions, costume disasters, and learning to love someone in every version they come in.

Summary
“Pierce’s failings led to the deaths of several of our men,” Ketch pointed out, nose high as ever. “Should not then his punishment be ours to carry out?"
Dean scoffed. “And it was Lady Bevell’s hands that brought a flamethrower to my brother’s foot, wasn’t it? Feel like I’m rememberin’ that correctly, but maybe I ain’t. Maybe she was downright hospitable, yeah?”
“As we’ve stated previously, Lady Bevell’s actions—”
“Were punished by you folks, yeah?” Dean interrupted. “That would mean Pierce’s falls into our hands, right? Or maybe I’m just too dumb t’get how that works. ‘Cause it ain’t like my brother and I got any authority in the Huntin’ Community, right?”
That had the intended effect. Even Davies, the guy Dean had yet to see truly speechless, shut up. There wasn’t much to say against one’s own rules, after all.
You wanted the Winchesters, Dean thought grimly. Careful what you wish for, or your prayer might just be a demon deal.
. . .
What if the Winchesters had disagreed with the British Men of Letters from the start?

Summary
Dean is so determined to be normal about Cas and what Cas said, so determined for things to get back to normal, that he starts counting his victories. First, he can touch Cas just like he did before--easy. He can comfort him after a nightmare--no problem. He doesn't even think about the fact that Cas is in love with him when Dean's moving around the bunker post-shower, as dressed down as he ever got before, just boxers and his robe closed over them. He's not even worried. Not even thinking twice about what Cas might see. Very natural, very cool; he can be cool about this.
It's just that, along with that, he can't stop thinking about the fact that Cas is in love with him. And when they start watching that fucking schmoopy ass show with Jack, Dean can't stop thinking about that kid, Nick, and where his story's going to go. Why does it matter so much to him anyway?
