They walked for many hours, passing small farms, grazing cows, and vast fields of unusually green grass. A gentle wind accompanied them all the time on this journey, together with white birds flying overhead while circling freely in the sky, flapping their wings all the time, looking incredibly majestic against the background of an exceptionally blue sky. Eren and Mikasa only took small breaks in the meantime to take a sip of water, which was essential on this long hike in full sun on this warm, early spring day.

For as long as she can remember, Anya has been made to feel as though she's fundamentally incapable of caring for others. Becoming a nurse aboard the Tulpar is less about finding a job and more about proving a point, both to those who tore her down and to herself.
