“Wait,” says Laios suddenly. “Look at her teeth!”
“Yes, Laios,” says Izutsumi. “We’ve all noticed the fangs. This really isn’t the time—”
“No,” says Laios, “those back teeth. She has molars- grinders. That means she’s an omnivore. But she can’t leave this circle, and you saw how nothing ventures within miles of this spot. I bet she hasn’t had anything other than…” he swallows, waving a hand vaguely at the pile of ex-adventurers, “...meat… for years .”
“So…what?” asks Izutsumi.
“Remember how good those marshmallows were?” asks Laios. “And that was only after a couple days without much of a varied diet.”
“You want to bet all of our lives,” Chilchuck says slowly, “on making a Sphinx a nice dessert?”

Before her resurrection, Falin had been decidedly none of those things, so it was very interesting—from a scientific standpoint—to observe first-hand the ways in which her emotions and values were shifting under the dragon’s influence.
From a personal standpoint, however, it was more than a little embarrassing to admit that she was burning hot with jealousy for a stupid freaking cat.
(Or, Izutsumi is only here for the pets, Falin misreads the situation, and Marcille has no idea why they can't just get along.)

Things get a lot more confusing when their childhood best friend suddenly reappears in their life.
Susie is just trying to learn how to be a good partner. She's not really sure if she's any good at it, but she hasn't been broken up with yet so she's taking her wins!
Things have gotten a little more complicated though, since this really cute girl keeps showing up at her work.

While Mario was off being a hero with training and a quest, he was stuck listening to a demented star ramble on and on, driving him insane. Luigi knows that he's a coward even from childhood, and defeating Bowser still hadn't shaken that belief away. He also knew that his family's teasing could lean onto the more hurtful side. But, no one can say anything about that because then they'll be saying oh you're just being dramatic, we're only joking, you know it's true, its not that big of a deal, ect.
So, Luigi is ready to hear the teasing. What he gets is this.

Summary
The Super Mario Bros Movie, with one major change: What if it was Mario who ended up in the Darklands, while Luigi was the one who met Princess Peach? As the saying goes, this changes everything and nothing (not that I ever understood what this means).
The Mario Brothers find the secret warp pipe while working on the drain, and it sends them down two different directions. Luigi arrives in the lovely Mushroom Kingdom, while Mario ends up in Darklands where he is captured by the evil King Bowser. It’s up to Luigi to face his (crippling) fears and save his big bro. Along the way, he's forced to work with the princess of Sarasaland, who he doesn't exactly get along with.
(OR, your author wished Luigi had a little more to do in the movie and wrote a whole-ass AU just to saute her own desires. Not every scene from the movie will be shown.)

Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.

When the Infection ended without explanation, the Dreamers arose from their slumber, and the land of Hallownest began to drag itself back to life, Hornet knew there would be troubles yet to come. With most resources scarce, many of the surviving bugs left disabled by the disease, and the vast majority of agricultural infrastructure devastated, Hallownest may yet be undone: not by a higher being, but the mortal logistics of hunger. When scouts from Pharloom arrive and attempt to capture a Weaverling, Hornet sees an opportunity to turn what could be another disaster into a chance for Hallownest to recover.
Pharloom is, as always, starved for Silk. When the Grand Mother's wayward daughters are located, under the protection of a Wyrm, forcibly reclaiming them would be dangerous. Fortunately, Hallownest is willing to offer up its Weaver princess for marriage in exchange for supplies that can easily be spared. Accompanied only by her silent knight, such a creature will surely be vulnerable to the manipulations of Pharloom's court.

Every thought about Susie refuses to fit in the neat categories they made for themself. Frustrated and delirious with exhaustion, Kris isn't too surprised when they start to imagine the soul talking to them.
