Pugsley has been kidnapped by Isaac Night and Wednesday chases after him. Eventually she gets captured and buried underground by him.
She's saved by Enid and Agnes, but Enid had to turn herself into a werewolf to dig her up, and she's now stuck permanently in that form due to her being an Alpha wolf that transfomed during a full moon.
As she is about to run away to protect Wednesday and Agnes however, Wednesday stops her. Now the 3 are gonna work together to try and figure out a way to break Enid's alpha curse... If any...

Her dark eyes flicked up to Ms. Halloway, and her reply was as cutting as ever. “If it weren’t for Enid’s incessant moral obligation to play hero, we would have left with Tanaka and Barclay. Summary
Enid knows she can't go through with the wedding. She can't marry him. Not after seeing Wednesday there, still the same after all these years. If only she could go back, start over, make the right choices. When the chance to do just that arises, she knows she can't pass it up.
