" Stacee has turned to face the stage so Willard mirrors him, sipping at his barely alcoholic drink, the first he’s had all night. He’s still not overly enraptured by the performance on stage, and because Stacee seems to be a master at reading people, he leans into Willard’s ear so they don’t have to shout and he asks, “This not typically your scene?”
Willard laughs, “What gave me away, the cowboy hat or the hick accent?” Stacee whispers, “Both,” his breath ghosts over Willard’s ear and it makes chills rise on his skin in an instant, a tingling sensation passing down his spine.
Stacee’s voice borders on a purr as he continues, “More than that, though, you seem almost…bored.” Willard laughs again, scrubbing at his jaw, “I don’t know about bored.”

“You lost?” A voice pulled Bradley’s attention away from his musings and he turned to find the source. Not far away, at the ticket booth counting up the drawer, stood a man. Older than him with dark, floppy hair. A short but compressed figure, his muscularity visible through his tight-fit jeans and a white t-shirt. He peered at Bradley with a mildly amused expression on his face, still rifling through the cash he held in his hand, counting all the while he watched Bradley cluelessly turn towards him.
“Um…” Bradley crossed his arms self-consciously, “Yes and no?”
