First short story for the marauders Era
During another humiliation attempt with James and Sirius, Severus remembers they were born purebloods and brought up around magic, not brought up with muggle violence and fighting. But that never ends well because it's two against one, and two muscular quidditch players over a greasy git that hides in the dungeon for cover.. Oh that will end in blood. Not that James and Sirius even know how to fight like a muggle.

Summary
Thunderstorms were a good time to take Moony out into the forest. The noise covered most of his howling, the rain kept him slow and careful, and most of the more dangerous creatures would be settled in for the night. This one had been textbook, with the night tilting back over towards the day with no issue. Then they looked back at the werewolf, noting his raised ears and slowly sniffing nose.
Good, a rabbit'll make him easier to get back into the shack.(Snape has been in his own head since The Prank, and decides to test out 'how easily' the Marauders would've become Animagi. He's not the MOST pleased with his new form. A form that garners as many predators as Severus does in his every day life / The Marauders feel guilty about The Prank. But are they going to say anything? Nuh-uh!)

Summary
Severus Snape already has a lot on his plate, his mother is terminally ill, he had bills to pay, graduation was in a couple of months, and he had to juggle working two different jobs in order to make ends meet. All of that combined he really didn’t have the luxury to focus on the recent killings going around town, sure it was tragic but as long as it wasn’t him or his mother, he was fine. With everything he was dealing with, including Potter and his friends, a killer was the last of his concerns. He could care less about secondary genders and the supposed roles they are meant to play in society, however, everyone else seems to think differently. Severus never made an attempt to fit into the Omega stereotype and never will. People think he should like soft things, pure things, delicate things, that he should be sweet and submissive. It takes people by surprise when they do find out his secondary gender because he is the complete opposite.
Severus doesn't mind, it keeps people away and he likes it that way.
So yes, he has a lot on his plate. Killer be damned, he still has bills to pay and a mother to take care of. If only the world didn’t make it clear that he was not their favorite person.

Severus laughed, what a ridiculous life he has! He lives with McGonagall, is friends or whatever he is with the Marauders, and is being haunted by a weird entity for Merlin knows what reason.
"Go back to your dorm Black, lest Remus and Potter find out about your visit. Thank you for your concern, I'm fine." He said.
Severus looked up to find Black staring at him weirdly, he cocked his head to the side and asked, "What is it? Is there something on my face?"
Black shook his head, "You have a pretty laugh," he said.
Severus felt heat rush up to his neck and ears as soon as he heard that sentence --pretty! The audacity! His laugh is not pretty at all! Ugh! Nevermind, Severus could never get used to the behavioural changes of the Marauders, ever.
