Summary
Sunghoon stayed crouched there, frozen. Just as his mind decided fuck it and to just get Riki’s blanket so he didn’t have to continue sleeping smelling a stupid alpha without his consent, he heard it. It was so faint he thought he was hearing things in his sleep deprived state.
Riki was purring.
Sunghoon felt like someone punched him directly in the lungs, all sleep leaving his head instantly, electricity running up his spine. It’s not like he hadn’t heard omegas purr before, in practice rooms or waiting rooms. It was normal biology. It shouldn’t have been so shocking.
But this was Riki, something alive and delicate inside of him that he only lets out when no one is watching. Sunghoon leaned in closer, just to make sure it wasn’t wishful thinking.
He hadn’t realized he had a favourite sound until now.
