    That’s all Cross ever was.

    For as long as he could remember, he was never ‘Sans’. He’s always known himself as ‘Cross’.

    When his AU was destroyed, he knew he was different. He had been the only one from his AU to survive, with the expectation of Chara.

    He knew he was different when Ink told him about the AUs, with perfect lives, and perfect stories. He knew he was different from them.

    …He didn’t like it.

    He was an outcast, even in his void.

    He was different.
