Rooster looks up from where he’s been trying and failing to sink a solid. “Hm?”
Coyote picks up Rooster’s phone from where it’s sitting at the edge of the pool table, buzzing incessantly. “Your notifications are going crazy, Bradshaw. Seven texts from Babygirl and still coming in.”
“Oh,” Bradley props the cue stick by his hip, pulling at his mustache. “Y’know.”

Summary
Eddie came for him.
Even if it was his job and he had no way of knowing Buck was in the tree, it still felt like fate that Eddie was the one who rescued him.
“My, nigh’ in’ armour,” Buck slurs out. “‘Lways saven me.”
“I’d always save you, Buck,” Eddie whispers honestly, his hand coming up to cup the back of Buck’s neck and redirects his head so their eyes are meeting.
“Always.”

Or the one where Buck isn't a firefighter but he is just as accident and danger prone, causing a lot of funny and sometimes sad incidents. These are the different times Eddie and his team have to help him and then one time Buck helps Eddie.

Connor throws himself into his usual seat next to Leon on the plane, trying to control his breathing and not let his panic spiral out of control.
“You ok, bud?”
“Yeah, just - I want to tell you something. Once we take off though, ok?”
Leon gives him a weird look and shrugs. Connor keeps counting his breaths, trying to keep them even, until they’re finally in the air.
“Ok, what’s going on? You’re acting really weird.”
Connor thinks through the words he’s practiced so many times already. “You know you’re one of my best friends, right?”
“Are you dying?”
