Summary
After that disastrous day in Iacon Optimus discovers that Sentinel's spark survived. Spurred on by the Matrix and his natural compassion, he decides to grant the false Prime a possibility at a second chance and plants his spark in the Well, so he might be reborn one day, if Primus so wills it.
It's a choice that is often on his mind as the centuries pass and he learns to navigate his new life as the divinely-chosen leader of his people and realizes that the empty space Sentinel left behind cannot be filled with determination and good intentions alone. The mantle of a Prime is heavy and wanting to steer his people right is not enough to make up for not knowing how to lead and manage an entire city, but it's a good start. The rest he can learn, from friends and former foes alike.

Hot Rod never saw the Autobots after he destroyed Nyon, he got scooped up by Megatron at his worse and twisted in to the worst version of himself.
Now tasked with ensuring the Autobots lose their CMO, he decides the best way to go about this is to take out his conjunx, Drift.
This is in fact, the worst way to go about this.
(alternate summary: Drift sees a rabid mech then looks around and asks "is anyone gonna help him?" then doesn't wait for a response.)

When D-16 wakes up on the surface of Cybertron, he can't figure out where he is or how he got there. Now surrounded by unfamiliar mechs in an unfamiliar war, his only focus is to figure out where his place is in all of this. Between fragments of familiar memories, D-16 and a rather eclectic crew of self-proclaimed Autobots vow to take on a war to return him back to who he was.
But the more the crew uncovers about his past... the less he wants to know.

(Based on a Headcanon/Theory for the FFVII Remake. I think some of Cloud’s old trooper buddies are gonna recognize him and go ‘what gives?’ Although this is completely different from how I think the Remake's take on it will go.)
Cloud’s old troop catches sight of their missing, supposedly dead trooper buddy and decide they need to find him to see what exactly is going on.
Randy took a shaky breath, closing his eyes until his breathing smoothed out. “I was in the group chasing Avalanche after the first reactor blew.” There was a long pause as he stared down at the marks in the table, gathering his thoughts. “I- saw Cloud.”
“Seriously?” Reed breathed. “Randy.... You sure it was Cloud? It wouldn’t be the first time one of us thought we saw him.” He made an aborted gesture towards Tag.
Randy shook his head, raising his face to stare blankly in front of him. “It was him. I know it was. He looked older, sure. But he-“ His eyes went wide and he jumped up as much as he could in his seat, pointing at something across the bar. “He’s right there!”

Two years later, when the Phantom Thieves begin wreaking havoc upon their plans, Haru would be delighted to join forces with them and wreck some Palaces – but Akechi refuses to even entertain the possibility of giving up his own plan and trusting anyone other than Haru to have his back.
Then Haru makes a deal with the Phantom Thieves, and the decision’s taken out of Akechi’s hands.
