Everyone knows that yellow and purple look horrible together, right? And- and it’s a tattoo parlour- surely the owner must have some experience in art, except not only do the colours clash, their distribution is not at all aesthetically pleasing, all clumped together in misshapen bundles. But in any case, this wouldn’t normally be enough to cause Mydei to take action. Except. This tattoo parlour and its ugly flower arrangements happen to be located right next to a florist. Mydei’s florist. In other words, it would be far too easy for a potential customer strolling past to assume the yellow and purple monstrosity to be Mydei’s work.
Those flower arrangements are a threat to his business, and he’s going to do something about them.
or: Mydei's neighbour is even more annoying than he is attractive. This causes Problems.

That's all that wrapped around Hero's head. Hours on end, he was daunted, taunted, and even haunted by his own spiraling thoughts.
Mari's smile filled the room, was the glue that held them together, optimistic, loving, and all too charming...
And yet, he hid underneath this sad blanket, wiping tears with the same cloth. Guilty. Confused. Stressed.
He loved her. He knew her in a way no one else did. He repeated the question over and over.
How did he not see the signs?
