Alastor swung his bare legs off the bed, his hooves clicking against the wooden floor. He didn’t stand, unsure if his trembling legs would take his weight just yet. But he had to go. Had to get away.
Smooth fingers ran down his spine, goosebumps causing his soft fur to stand on end—even his tail fluffed up from the ticklish yet pleasant feeling, begging to flick happily.
Fuck.
He needed to leave.
“Stay the night? Just until your morning broadcast?” Lucifer’s question was expected, his words tinged with hope and desire.
Alastor swallowed back his hesitation and forced a sly grin as he scanned the room for his discarded clothing. “Again? Quite insatiable, aren’t you, sire?”

Summary
The elevator doors slid open, and the lobby fell silent. All eyes turned to Alastor. Gone was his usual stiff haircut, replaced by soft curls framing his face. The burgundy dress clung to him, its plunging neckline revealing the soft fur of his chest, the hemline stopping scandalously short. Stockings traced the length of his legs, disappearing into high heels that clicked with each step. A choker circled his neck, long gloves matched the dress, and his tail swayed with maddening confidence.
Lucifer’s gaze lingered helplessly on every detail - the soft curl of his hair, the teasing flick of his tail, the way the dress seemed made to torment him. Even his usual filtered voice was gone, replaced by a Southern drawl as rich and smooth as molasses. It sent a shiver through Lucifer.
“What about you, sire?” Alastor asked, his crimson eyes gleaming with mischief. “Do I pass your inspection?”
Lucifer swallowed hard, his voice coming out rougher than he’d intended. “You’ll do.”
Alastor’s laughter, low and silken, sent another tremor through him. As the group moved to leave, Lucifer followed, pulse racing and one glaring truth burning in his mind.
He was hopelessly and completely fucked.

Alastor closes his eyes as the fight drains from his body. Lucifer knows. He’s certain of it, just as he is certain that the life he has known up to this moment is now over. He’ll live out the rest of his eternity on his back, legs spread for anyone with a few coins in their pocket. He almost laughs at the irony, that he should be a means for sinners to slake their hunger for a pound of flesh, in a manner of speaking.
“Alastor.”
He opens his eyes. Lucifer’s expression is inscrutable, but the air around him feels charged with energy like the moments before a storm.
“I need you to tell me what’s going on. Right now.”
Alastor forces himself to be calm. He will face this with dignity. “I believe I am going into heat, your Majesty.”

In a Hell tightly controlled by a caste system, a misbegotten good deed threatens to expose Alastor's most closely guarded secret. He is certain that the life he has known is over once Lucifer discovers the truth, and he is right—only not in the way he expects.
