The guy is cautiously smiling back now – a reflection of Will’s unconscious expression at the thought of Dustin’s clarification – and it doesn’t falter, even once Will loses his amusement. Instead, the grin widens, almost too big for his face and definitely too big for Mike’s usual range of expression. His eyebrows rise above the rim of his lenses.

It was a simple mission. Straight forward. Infiltrate, steal, leave. Stone was certain he would be able to get it over and done within 48 hours. Sure, every agent before him had failed, but he wasn’t just any agent.
He was Agent Stone.
He was a rumor, a name teachers threw around in GUNs academy to aspiring agents. A man with no failed missions, a perfect success rate. The highest number of completed missions on record - and still going.
Barely anyone knew what he looked like. No one knew his real name. Hell, most agents weren’t even sure he existed - just a rumor made up to make the rest of them strive for perfection.
But he was real. And as GUNS top agent, this mission should have been a cake walk.
Key words: Should have.
Even the unbreakable can break. And here was Agent Stone, perfect record on the line, the myth of GUNs hallways, pressed against the wall as the inhumanly tall Doctor Eggman - his target for this mission - loomed over him.
Maybe this was going to be harder than it seemed.

“What’s that supposed to mean? What the fuck is I love you supposed to mean? Are we in a fight?”
“Joker, Joker, look at me, LOOK at me,” Bruce snaps and his voice gets that little extra bit of gravel he adds when he’s Batman, practically forcing Joker to focus his eyes, “It means I love you. That’s it.”
