“Fuck. Lix!” Seungmin dives down, wrapping his arms around him and launching them both under the dining table. The expensive vase Hyunjin gifted him for his birthday tilts from the countertop and shatters across the tile.
“What the hell,” Felix whispers, barely heard over the entire building shaking from left to right and up and down. He curls more into Seungmin. He tries to drown out the creaking of the walls and the sound of furniture slamming into each other. “What the fuck.”
“It’ll die down soon.” Seungmin grits.

There was a moment of silence before Felix straightened his shoulders, raised his chin and looked at Minho - like Jeongin often told him to do, with warm, comforting touches to Felix’s shoulders and chin.
“I… I don’t understand, Hyung. Could you explain, please?” Felix asked, his voice a little stronger.
Felix truly was the bravest of them all.
“Of course, Felix. Thank you for asking.” He allowed his scent to swell with pride and happiness, to make it as obvious as he could that Felix had done good. That they wanted him to ask questions. That no matter what had happened to him before, they would do whatever it took to make him understand how valued he was.

Summary

“You—” Felix started, but his voice cracked slightly, so he cleared his throat. “You mean like… an actual date?”
Hyunjin smiled, warm and easy. “Yeah. You know, the thing couples do? Dinner, a walk, maybe a stupidly cliché movie—”
Felix let out a quiet laugh, swallowed by the way his cheeks were burning up.
“Okay.”
Hyunjin’s grin was immediate, dazzling, like Felix had just handed him the best news in the world. “Okay?”
