Weiss was sick of her father trying to barter her future for profit. Leaving the protection of the city was a death sentence, but honestly that was preferable to the slow death she'd suffer staying home.
She certainly wasn't expecting an angel to fall from the heavens and slay the monsters that had plagued humanity in front of her.
And she really wasn't expecting them to know who she was, or to look at her with such care in her eyes.

Summary
Demons, those who leave their humanity behind in search of power or selfish desire. Unlike the other monsters of Remnant, they retain intelligence, and are capable of great magic, beyond that of humans.
To the world of Remnant, the demon armies of Salem are a threat to the five kingdoms (four kingdoms, if you ask Atlas), and Adventurer Guilds across the world dispatch trained hunters to protect the innocent from demons and monsters.
To Ruby Rose, however, Queen Salem and her generals are the only family she has known, other than her late mother Summer.
How will she fare when she comes face to face with an adventurer for the first time?
And what questions will she face when she faces a world she hasn't known before?
