Summary
Robby was all too aware of the frequent discrimination that happened to omegas working in the medical field. He'd seen it time and time again, how omegas got sidelined or abused at the hands of staff and patients.
So, when he laid eyes on Dennis Whitaker, a 4th year medical student at The Pitt, he vowed to himself to keep an extra eye out for the omega, making sure he was fitting in alright and wasn't being treated unfairly by others around him. The younger man was incredibly endearing in his own awkward, baby deer type of way.
He couldn't quite help it if his hands wandered a little, gentle pats on the shoulder or touches resting heavy along the omega's nape. It was nothing scandalous. Just a little friendly touch here and there never hurt anyone, right?
He certainly didn't expect his actions to result in Whitaker suddenly having a flash heat, caused entirely by him.

For a split second, he’s thirteen again, kneeling in a dark confessional booth that smells like dust and old varnish. Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. There’s a man on the other side of the partition, shadowed and faceless. He braces for disappointment. For correction. No hail Marys passed through the lattice. No absolution.
When he looks up now, it isn’t a priest staring back at him.
It’s Robby. And Robby doesn’t look angry. It would’ve been easier if he had. Furious at the duty, as he called it, thrust upon him without consent. Anger, Dennis could survive. Instead, Robby looks incredulous, like he doesn’t even believe him.
Or Dennis has rejection sickness, and he must stay by Robby's side to recover. Alone.

But he yearned for more out of this life, more than just to be a selfish killer that his whole justification was for peace. He wanted to start anew, and that meant taking leaps.
“A twosome.”
“Well what else am I supposed to call it? Usually it’s us Eifel towering some chick in the middle while you avoid eye contact!” Adrian exclaimed with a total straight face, not realizing the ridiculousness of that.

Chris should have a lot on his mind, what with how his life is spiraling rapidly out of control. Yet all he can think about is Adrian, disappointed to never experience motherhood. A weird thing for a beta man to say, right? Surely it was just another weird, unhinged Vigilante thing, right, not something that he meant seriously. Right?
Only maybe he did mean it and maybe, with the cops and butterflies and he own father closing in, Chris would like to do this one thing for the one person who accepts him unconditionally and asks for nothing. Sometimes being a good bro means plowing a guy through the mattress until their body reacts and turns omega, and Adrian deserves a good bro.
