Summary
Violet ‘Vi’ Lanes is lead guitarist and vocalist for the world famous Vault Breaker, a metalcore band she formed in her teen years after her father, world famous guitarist Vander Lanes disowned her. After a particularly nasty divorce, she moved to New York City to get away from it all, signing to a new label, Riot Records, the first chance she got.
Caitlyn Kiramman is the lead vocalist for an up and coming rock band, 90 Caliber Net. Her mother, world renowned philanthropist Cassandra Kiramman, refused to support her dreams, and cut her off from the Kiramman fortune until Caitlyn could “come to her senses.” After a rough breakup with popstar Seraphine, all Caitlyn wanted to do was get out. When Riot Records offered the band more than they could dream of, she snapped up the opportunity, moving to New York City.
Six months settling into their new lives, fate pushes them together in a chance meeting. Sparks fly and tension builds as both rock stars find themselves in each other.

Summary
Caitlyn's not sure exactly what she was expecting when she first walked into that classroom, but what she had found had thrown her for such a loop it almost made her dizzy. It’s almost ridiculous how attractive Vi is. Simply, mathematically, it does not add up. There has to be a catch somewhere, Caitlyn reasons.
The catch, apparently, is that Vi is her coworker, teetering on the edge of being too old for her, and their families absolutely despise each other.
Or: Caitlyn and Vi were both injured in the same freak accident 13 years ago and are supposed to hate each other. Somehow they both end up teaching at the same university. Chaos ensues.
