The Dream SMP knows that Technoblade is dangerous. They know he's powerful. They know he has something to do with all the kids suddenly vanishing (escaping) off the server.They do not know he's 15. They do not know he's the youngest son of the Head Watcher.
They do not know he has an older brother (two, technically).
When Grian finally has had enough of how his little brother has been treated, he does what any sane Watcher -any sane older sibling- would do.
He 'intervenes'.

Summary
Bad knew, as any creature from the Nether knew (most Overworlders, on the other hand, didn't), that it was easy to tell a piglin or piglin hybrid's age by their tusks, if not by scent. Right now it was hard to get any scent but actual, pure fear from the Blade, but the hood had been knocked back in the tumble, and there was no mistaking.
He couldn't be over 14. That was a cub. That was a teenager. A clearly terrified one.

Summary
Grian never wanted to go back to this again. He wanted to build his life somewhere far away from them. Somewhere where he would feel truly safe. Somewhere where he could fall asleep peacefully and wake up peacefully, without worrying about how to avoid angering them.
So, if it wasn't clear by now, Grian wasn't much of a fan of family meetings. Yeah. Mainly because it was a direct invitation for Jimmy and Joel to meet him, and Grian categorically refused to entertain that possibility.
And it would have continued that way if Scar hadn't actually messaged him about celebrating the New Year.

Summary
Before elytra were commonplace, in the early stages of each season, Grian resisted using his wings for a lot of things. He simply believed it wouldn't really be fair to his friends and fellow hermits if they were ground-bound while he could soar. But that didn't mean he was above using them for pranks.
"Grian?"

"Why is my tree full of pigs?"
"I have no idea what you mean, Mumbo. Treesa is filled with pigs?"
"Don't- don't do that. I know it was you. Why pigs?"

Season 8 starts with Grian deciding to base with 4 of his closest friends. Their friendships only get closer, as Grian decides to tell his secret out of sleep deprivation and makes other bad choices in the name of fun.
