They both turn to face the wall, needing a breather from all the reveals of the night. The head of a train from Rumi’s pants just barely touches the beginning of a tear in Mira’s fishnet stockings. Mira runs a finger along the tear, skimming the skin of her thigh as though it were a track.
A breath. And then. “You could practice.”
Mira looks at Rumi. Rumi looks at the finger still hooked on her stockings. She stares at her for a moment longer, waiting for her gaze to lift, but it doesn’t.
“Oh, you’re serious.”
Rumi shrugs. “We train to control our powers. I don’t see why this can’t be included. What if you or Zoey accidentally crush a fan’s hands? Or hug them too hard?”

Summary
Rumi Ryu, fresh out of an emotionally and physically abusive relationship, is finally ready to move out of her aunt’s house and into her own space. She settles on a small apartment building in a quiet part of Seoul, where she can see herself flourishing, hopefully.
Mira Kang and Zoey Cho have lived in the building for ages now and haven't had a neighbor in months. Probably because the rent price was outrageous, but they’re able to afford it together. When a mysterious, quiet and heavily guarded purple-haired stranger moves in next door, Zoey immediately begins “operation befriend the neighbor”. Mira is just along for the ride.Or: shy, quiet Rumi moves into the apartment next to Mira and Zoey. Love and chaos (good and bad) ensue.

She found comfort in the Honmoon layering itself over her in a way it never had when she was alive. And she grieved the closeness she had with Mira and Zoey more than she did her own life as she fought next to them with distance that could never be closed.
