"What if Miyeong lived, but was a deadbeat mom with horrendous postpartum depression?"
Miyeong finds herself with an unwanted pregnancy and denies denies denies until it's too late. When she sees Rumi's patterns, she shuts down. But both Miyeong and Thirdlight find that they are too squeamish to kill a baby themselves, and ask Celine to "fix this". Celine interprets "fix this" as "throw my reputation on this grenade and claim the baby is mine, then quietly raise her on my own". Much to Celine's regret, the honmoon still chooses Rumi, and she has to go get trained by the Sunlight Sisters Duo.
Knowing (more or less) the score, Rumi is not delighted by the duo's treatment of her Real Mother (Celine) and is a real pain in the ass about it.

When Miyeong and Min-ji kept the former's pregnancy from her out of fear of what she might do to the baby, Celine's heart was shattered and the pieces left a trail as she left her hunters— her girls —behind her for good.
She swore she was done with it all: the Honmoon, being a hunter, everything.
And if said Honmoon could get that message and stop throwing baby hunters at her, she would greatly appreciate it!Or
Celine might be done with the Honmoon; but the Honmoon is not done with her.

“Have you ever kept secrets from Ha-yun and Neji?”
“Once or twice, but that’s what friends do,” Haeji explained gently. “Why, the number of times that I kept it a secret that I was going out to demon hunt on my own was at least 100. When Ha-yun and Neji found out they were angry with me, sure, but they understood that I needed space.”
Celine looked away for a moment.
“Is it…is it bad that I’m mad at them? I mean, sure, I don’t like drinking or alcohol or any of that stuff, but… I would’ still go if invited.”
“Not at all, little sprout. As I said, secrets are normal, and you three will never be able to function if you are constantly at each other's throats demandin to know each other's secrets.” Haeji said softly, watching Celine’s eyes carefully. “You don’t like being alone, do you?”
Celine shook her head.
“I don’t like secrets. Especially the sort that change lives,” she mumbled, her waking up one morning to her siblings packing their stuff while her mother smoked a pack of cigarettes still burned in the back of her mind and ached like an ever-healing wound. “I thought we were supposed ot trust each other.”
