Wilbur was tired of being a hero.
He liked to believe that he was a good hero, but being a good hero wasn’t enough. It was never enough. Always compared to his twin brother, the golden child of the Minecraft Hero Family.
Wilbur lived in Techno’s shadow. He hated it so much and he wasn’t sure how much more he could take.
He wanted to be seen for who he was.
He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else’s story.Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis.
A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival.
His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain.
He had met the hero once, and that was all it took.
The eldest of the Minecraft children was so much more than anyone realized. There was a deep running fury hidden under his mask. The hero was fast approaching his breaking point.
That, is why Quackity chose him. Wilbur Minecraft was going to fall soon, and he was going to fall hard.
And Quackity would be right there waiting, ready to catch his songbird when he did.Series

Maybe just maybe the story between Technoblade and Dream had been different, not rivalry, but a friendship that bonded over time with them being stuck in a prison cell together. And maybe Technoblade realizes that he sees Dream as his youngling, he's doesn't understand his piglin nature sometimes.
And Dream just needs a family that understands him, and maybe he found it finally.

When Tommy stopped fighting back and just lolled to the side with a frown, body limp in an unclenching fist, Purpled surprisingly stopped. A face twisted by an annoyed grimace leaned on the door, forehead bumping on the wall with a sigh “What do you want."
It was a strangely tense moment to shake off the boy's hand, dusting off her jacket like she cared about anything else than showing how offended she felt. “You're a bitch."
“I don't owe you anything, especially not sympathy.”

Summary
At this point, Techno can hardly blame his foster parents for kicking him so quickly. He's certainly the consistent variable of the situations, so it'd be stupid to pin it fully on so many others. And, well, they all give the same excuse for giving him up.
His epilepsy is too much for them to handle.
Sometimes, Techno wants to snap back that it's too much for him to handle too. And he can't just throw himself away to leave it behind. But that wouldn't help anything, except getting him gone even quicker.
So this time, Techno will not be difficult. He will not cause drama or stress or annoyance. He will not have constant fits that freak his foster family out. This time, Techno will be easy. And he will finally get to stay.

“I’m afraid I can’t do that,” and then he reached a hand out to Tommy’s head, he tried to squirm out of his way, but the hero grabbed his hoodie. “It’s about time I bring you to justice”
He took his hoodie off, prying the mask from his face and he froze.
Tommy could see how the man’s eyes widened, something like panic in his expression.
But he didn’t care about that, he couldn’t breathe, the boss had told him to keep his piglin features hidden, that he was an advantage the heroes couldn’t know of, and now his pointy ears and the tusks that barely poked through his lips were now in the open for everyone to see.
For the heroes to know.
Even if he escaped now, the heroes would find out who he is, after all, there were only so many piglin hybrids in the records.

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

The royal family of Antarctic empire isn’t exactly close.
Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn’t seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, their relationship can be described to be strained at best.
The royal family doesn’t need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads – as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo.
