Summary
When Clarke complained about a boring night shift, she had no intention to jinx an earthquake. But after a series of unfortunate events, she finds herself trapped under tonnes of rubble with a beautiful brunette she's never met before. And she can't help but wonder whether these events were perhaps not so unfortunate after all.

Summary
Andy’s heart stops. All the blood leaves her face and rushes directly to her ears. The only thing she can hear is the sound of it pumping through her veins. Copley and Nile are both studying the photo closely, but Andy hardly notices them, even right beside her. All she can see is the blood, the look on her face, the tremble in her jaw as she died –
**
She is almost four thousand years old – there is quite little that feels older than her in this world, but Discord feels older. She feels ancient compared to Quynh, especially with all of the knowledge she holds that Quynh does not. “You have been withholding it from me, a carrot to keep me here so that you do not have to find a stick. It is hard to punish someone who has lost so much, is it not?”--
For five years, everything goes smoothly. Five years of Booker in exile, five years of Nile on the team, and five years of Andy grappling with her newfound mortality.
But, like every other plan they've ever had, it has to go to shit at some point, and go to shit it does.
AKA the sequel we deserved, rather than the one we got.Bookmarked by HopeCanDie

angels pouring - small_grasshopper_celestial
An old guard fic where Andy stays mortal, Booker lives, Discord and Andy have history and just everything is a bit better than canon. Lots of different POVs and all of them make sense.

Summary
A rewrite of Raven and Clarke’s scene in 6x04. Wherein Clarke does not regret the choices she made, and Raven wonders if the Clarke Griffin she remembers really did die in Praimfaya.
*
“Raven, I am not a leader,” Clarke said, and Raven’s words lodged in her throat. “I barely remember how to be a friend. I am a mother before all else, and you—you are the people that put monsters in my child’s head and threw her into the middle of a war.”
I accept that you may never forgive me. That’s okay. I don’t forgive you either.

Hear me now (like you never heard me then) - evening_skies
Clarke talks with Raven in season 6 but finally decides to speak up for herself. It's definitely needed.

Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen’s campaign should be a disaster. She has a weirdly close relationship with her uncle, had an affair with Harwin Strong while married to Laenor Velaryon, dates celebrities of all genders and swears on prime-time television. She goes viral on social media, comes from old money but leads a left-leaning campaign and says the truth in interviews.
This senate race should be a slam dunk. The easiest win of Alicent’s career.
Instead, she wakes up to learn Rhaenyra is beating her father’s candidate by fifteen points in the polls.
This country is fucked.

every vote counts - beepboop (permanganato)
Rhaenyra is a politician who runs for Senate against Cole. Alicent is Coles PR manager, but he is quite hopeless against queen Rhaenyra. So they start kissing :)

Summary
She stumbled backwards, knowing with horror that she was about to trip and fall and hit the ground in utter humiliation - when a hand shot out and grabbed her by the wrist. She was yanked back to her feet.
“Dreadfully sorry,” said the perpetrator of Alicent’s very near demise. “Are you alright?” Heart thumping, Alicent looked up, half-convinced she was on the floor and just hadn’t noticed it yet - and found herself staring straight into the violet eyes of Rhaenyra Targaryen.

buried will, upper world - carloabay
Westeros in a modern but historical universe, Alicent as an archaeologist and a dutiful/respected woman, Rhaenyra not caring at all for social norms
Very complex dynamics and so so much angst. Every time they take a step forward they take three steps back immediately. So many great characters (Leanor, Harwin, Daeron, Mysaria) and so much pain. Absolut masterpiece!
